Comment : Lora Ln entry gate to horse trail in ditch ponds and culverts connecting the pond areas.

Comment : Came out of palmetto area along bank of pond for short time. Then back into palmeto area again.

Comment : Early morning observation of Great Egrets revealed 2 North Amer. River Otters frolicing amongst the egrets. They departed E casually bobbing in and out of the water.

Site Description: Rugged coastline of Herring Cove at low tide. It ran under some rocks as we approached.
Comment : Didn't know know river otter's can survive in the ocean, sea otters apparently exist on the west coast, not east coast.
